What does HD mean?

• HD stands for High Definition.
• Generally HD is divided into two parts.
• The pixel format in this quality is 720p or 1280x720pixels, 1280 may be different depending on the area, so the height is 720 pixels.
• Full HD: 1080p is considered Full HD. The standard pixel ratio is 1920x1080 pixels.

Note that movies / content of the highest resolution your display supports will generally look best on that display. Remember, if you run 1080p on a 720p display, you won't get the correct sharpness. The same applies in reverse.
